They come out crispy on the outside with a decent softness and with a lil slab of butter and some syrup can have you floating back to memories of the diner experiences of late-night sobering up breakfast, or recuperative cheat meals after long dieting sessions.

They are slightly high in sodium but they don’t taste it so beware if you’re watching that salt intake. They offer a solid 6g of fiber to balance out about 11g of sugar ( they use real chocolate chips) and the 21 grams of whey isolate packs the perfect punch for a post work out treat or a preworkout power meal. You can also make some in advance and keep them in the fridge for a quick snack.

If you are kitchen savvy and tweak the recipe a little you can also make some muffins out of them. I highly suggest those mini muffin tins, as they come out perfect and you can pop them on the way to class, work, or right after the gym instead of drinking aluminum can flavored milk protein isolate!

Suggested Use:

  • Mix the Batter Whisk cup dry mix with cup coldwater, just until ingredients are blended. Pour the Batter. Makes 2 six-inch pancakes. Heat the Griddle and Preheat to 325 degrees. Cook until Golden & Flip. Cook until bubbles stop forming and edges are cooked, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on other side.
