Donut Makeover as Jim Buddy’s Revamps Their Protein Treat
The UK’s Jim Buddy’s recently ceased production of their tub o’ donuts and set a fudge ripple through the world of protein snackage. What started as possible new editions to the lineup turned out to be a cease and desists of deliciousness. Albite temporary, there will only be two available options coming in the newly foiled packaged protein donuts, but Jim Buddy’s has mentioned more flavors will be available as the release ramps up.
The Chocolate and Cake Batter donuts are scheduled for release in August sometime will be in single serve packages and not in their clear plastic containers as formerly offered. This seems like a move to make them more convenient and potentially added to the mass market in the UK, and hopefully US as well.
Depending on flavor they offer 11-14g of protein and between 13-15g of net carbs. Usually adding up to around 140-160 calories for each delicious cakey treat.

So, hold your sweet tooth for just a bit longer, and Jim Buddy’s promises the revamp with more protein will settle those dessert cravings. A great suggestion from the Sweet Dream-team over at Bodybuild3r.com Europe is to find your favorite protein spread, low cal jam, or protein cream spread from the many companies in the EU to add to your donuts to make them even more delectable. You could even try to make burger buns out of them for the US Style Heart Attack burger. Don’t forget the bacon…you can always add more bacon.
